Getting Here

The Brown Trout Hotel is located in Watten on the A882 between Wick and Thurso. The best way to arrive is by Car but you can travel here with other means of transport.

Travelling by Car

From Perth/Glasgow/South

Follow the A9 straight up till you get to Latheron. Just pass Latheron on your left hand side you shall see a sign for Thurso you turn left here and follow the road straight up until you come to a sign for Mybster, turn right here onto the B870 and follow the road through to Watten.  The Brown Trout Hotel is at the Crossroads in the Centre of Watten.

From Aberdeen/East

Follow the  A96 straight through till Inverness until you reach the Raigmore Interchange and take the 3^rd exit onto the A9 signpost Thurso and then follow the directions above.

From Fort William/West

Follow the A83 to Inverness and then follow directions above.

Rail

You can get the train to Watten but you would need to travel to either Wick or Thurso, and then possibly hire a car, the train is not very frequent but you could check out Scotrail

Bus

You can get a bus to Watten but you would need to connect in Wick or Thurso check out Stagecoach
