Dunnet Head |

About 8 miles from Thurso is Dunnet Beach and the famous Dunnet Head. Dunnet Head is a peninsular and the most northerly point of the mainland of Britain. Dunnet Head is about 11 miles from John O’ Groats and on a clear day you can see across to Stroma and Hoy and to Mainland Orkney. It is a wonderful place for Wildlife and on Dunnet Head is the famous seal colony at Brough Bay. You can see some of the pictures in our Gallery.
