Fishing in Caithness |

Caithness is one of the finest fly fishing counties in Scotland. So why not come and see for yourself. Where we are situated in Watten by the famous Loch Watten, this loch is the second largest loch in Caithness about three miles long and up to half a mile wide, and is renowned for its wild brown trout. About 5 miles from Watten near Halkirk is Loch Calder, (Caithness’s largest and deepest loch). You can also fish in Loch Hellian, Stemster and Toftingall. If you fancy a go on some of the local hill lochs then take a trip to Dunnet Head, a permit is required which can be obtained from the gun shop in Dunnet, C H Haygarth & Sons or telephone 01847 851602 for further details. |
